Thank God for small miracles
I have been under a lot of stress lately. I have been stress eating like no other. My clothes are still loose but I am sure it is only a matter of time before I gain a pound or two. Thank God my face has not started breaking out. The day I have to start looking for acne treatments that work will be the day I go crazy. With a little bit of motivation and “me” time I can hopefully squash some of this stress. I just need a little bit of me time and some good ole exercise. Ya’ll wish me luck!

Guys are so hard headed
One thing my sister has tried to tell my younger siblings about is how important it is to wash your face and take care of your skin. She has had a lot of issues with acne and has tried every product known to man. We have spent hundreds of dollars on different face washes and now she has spent a good amount of her paycheck on an acne scar cream. Sadly, my brother doesn’t care about what my sister has to say and doesn’t take her seriously. He never washes his face and if he does it is with cold water and bar soap. Why is it that guys don’t care about their skin or the appearance of their face? It must be a guy thing, seriously!

Raccoon Eyes Begone!
As I mentioned before, living in a house with just the hubby and I along with our two dogs can be lonely at times but it also has it’s positive points as well. Ever since I moved out, I’ve noticed that the lack of stress and the addition of sleep has helped to clear up the dark circles under my eyes. I now do not look like a raccoon all of the time. Who knew moving out could be the remedy to remove dark circles under eyes? If I would have known that, I would have moved out sooner!

Beauty Secrets
For some reason, people always assume I wear a lot of make up because of my complexion. When I tell them that my beauty regime consists of only four products they seriously cannot believe what I am telling them. Thanks to my Ukrainian and American Indian heritage, I have a very pretty complexion. I also love the fact that my face is tanned and I have natural rosy cheeks but not overly rosy. Also, my long lashes always make people assume I have mascara on when I don’t. Seriously, the only beauty products I use is a natural face cream, moisturizer, eye liner, and lip gloss. Now the eye liner and lip gloss is only on special occasions so in my day to day life I am rocking all natural. So hopefully with the help of my “beauty secrets,” I can keep up my great skin way into my prime!

Beauty isn’t always what it seems
Seeing that I watch a lot of reality television, it’s no wonder I get so annoyed with people becoming so obsessed with looking younger. For instance, I don’t see why older guys are all obsessed with barely legal girls unless they just feel like they can’t get a girl their own age since mature women are much too good for them. On the flip side, I find it ridiculous how women work so hard to hide their age with botox injections and the use of a hgh spray. I do understand the need of wanting to feel better about yourself but since when should we allow the media and entertainment industry to govern what the idea of looking good should truly be. I am very far from the media’s idea of a beautiful person but I still feel beautiful. Yes, I weigh well over what I should and I’m sure in twenty years I will have wrinkles but that doesn’t bother me at all. I believe if people would start concentrating on the beauty of life, instead of trying to run from it, the world would be a much better place.
