Circles, again

Circles, again

Due to all of the stress I’ve been under lately, I yet again have dark circles under eyes. I hate this. It is so embarrassing to have to go into class looking like a raccoon. Sadly, this morning I did not wake up in time to put on concealer to cover up under my eyes so I went into class looking like a zombie. It really sucked because today we got our tests back. For some reason, our teacher forgot my test and three other tests since he left them at home on his kitchen table. Gee, thanks! I really wanted to know what I made in case I did horrible. Now I won’t find out until next week. Guess I will spend the whole weekend worried about what I made on my test.

Work, work, work

Work, work, work

As I mentioned before, I have been super busy with life and trying to throw in some time to complete articles to bring in extra cash. I swear, I have wrote so many articles lately on health related topics such as weight loss pills and testosterone supplements. I have really enjoyed completing all the research needed to write the actual articles. I really enjoy researching for some reason. It always relaxes me. I actually wanted to take a few minutes before I head to bed to make a quick post. I do not want this domain to slowly die away so I need to keep it active!

Exhaustion

Exhaustion

I have been so exhausted lately. It seems all I do is go to work, complete my housewife duties, and then take care of Grayson. Somehow, I manage to throw in some writing time to bring in extra money but that is becoming a rarity lately. Thank God I have my multivitamins because I have not even had a lot of time to eat like I should be. I do not know what is wrong with me. Maybe I need to take a weekend and devote it to relaxation. I wish!

Extra Money

Extra Money

When I got my financial aid check, I had a list of things I wanted to look into purchasing. I originally wanted to get a new laptop but after pricing laptops, I decided to stick with my old one. It wasn’t that they were too expensive, it was just that I can’t justify paying for a netbook when my current laptop kicks butt by itself. I can not only surf the web and take notes, but I can play games such as WoW as well. I can’t see getting rid of it for a netbook when I can handle carrying the four extra pounds around to be able to play WoW on a laptop. Yes, I am a gamer nerd. Since I am not getting a laptop, now I can buy a new camera. I really want a DSLR so bad and am super excited to have the money to get one! I have been browsing the net like a mad woman in hopes of finding an awesome deal on one and I finally believe that I have! I cannot wait to order it.

Cheap is the way to go, sometimes

Cheap is the way to go, sometimes

The economy sucks. That is definitely not a secret since everywhere you turn, someone is griping over the cost of things and how little they have coming in. Jonathan and I definitely understand this since we have our own place and do not have a lot of income coming in since I am a full time student and he has a back injury. We survive, obviously, but we wish we had more coming in so we could save more. I am sure everyone feels that way. Since I am selling my car and using my mom’s, we have to pay for our own insurance. Finding cheap car insurance is not an easy thing to do. Luckily, I found a place online and plan on going by their office tomorrow to get our policy set up. I just want to have insurance on the car so once I sell mine we have something to drive right then. The pains of being an adult are endless, I swear.

Annoying professors

Annoying professors

There is one thing that I really despise in a professor and that is a professor who skips around from subject to subject and does not believe in helping their students. Our professor assigned sections 1.1 and 1.2 for homework over the weekend. When I sat down to do my homework, I noticed that every problem we went over in class last week was not on the homework. He could have been teaching about a petroleum hose for all the good his teaching did for me in regards to homework. In class today, he informed us that his theory with math is that we need to learn for ourselves because that is how you learn problem solving skills. I understand all of that and everything but he could have explained some problems on our homework. I do like this class since I really didn’t have too much trouble on the homework but a lot of people were upset in my class. I understand we are in college and need to develop better problem solving skills but it would be nice if he would have told us that before. Some people learn by example and he as a professor should realize that. Maybe that is just my two cents but that is still annoying none the less. How do you feel about my professor’s attitude towards teaching material and homework?

Rainy Days

Rainy Days

Today has been a dark, rainy day. There is something about gloomy days that just brings out the gloom and doom in each of us. Everyone was trekking back and forth from building to building today either one of three ways. Either people had an umbrella and were walking slow while enjoying the rain, walking from building to building in their neos overshoes or other rainboots, or they were running from building to building while jumping to avoid puddles. Which category did I fall in? I ran because I wore flip flops. I was at my mom’s house and I either had to choose between flip flops or Birkenstocks and no offense but I was not going to ruin my Birkenstocks in this weather! I really need to invest in a cute pair of rainboots!
