Super Exhaustion

Super Exhaustion

I am uber exhausted. I have been going non stop since school ended on Wednesday. I know this is supposed to be my spare time but I want to pack as much time in with my son as possible. I had to forgo our usual playtime to concentrate on school so the rest of this month until June 8th is about making that up to him. We are going to pack as much fun into this time as possible! One other thing I need to accomplish while I’m out of school is to find a new rental insurance provider. I swear, I have never read so much information about premiums and deductibles in my life. Rental insurance is bad enough, thank God we don’t have to look for something as complicated as motorhome insurance!

Mother’s Day!

Mother’s Day!

Tomorrow is the one day of the year that everyone decides to honor their mother. I, on the other hand, honor my mother every day of the year. I love my mom and she has always been there for me through thick and thin. She is the one constant in my life that I know will always be cheering me on through whatever endeavor I choose to take on. In fact, she has been my motivator to keep my head in the game regarding school. She believes in me which makes me believe in myself. Without her, I don’t know what I’d do.

With all of that said, I’ve been trying to come up with a great plan for Mother’s Day. My siblings are so excited to pitch in and help decorate a cake for my mom. I plan on making two heart cakes and having them each decorate one. I also plan on making her a dinner as well. I was going to get her some flowers but considering I live in a small town without a florist open on the weekends, that is not going to happen. I mean finding a florist to deliver on a weekend is as difficult as googling Phoenix florists and asking one of them to fly in some flowers for my mom. In other words, it is not going to happen. So I think I will buy some flowers and arrange them myself. It can’t be too hard, can it? Either way, I am sure she will appreciate her special day!

Little Cowboy

Little Cowboy

It is no secret that I am a Southern girl through and through. I grew up on a farm and love the country way of life. It is also no secret that my husband is the same way if not more country than I will ever be. He loves the South and everything it stands for. It should come as no surprise that he wants Grayson to be raised the same way. Between him and my dad, Grayson is going to be one wild child that is going to love everything from four wheelers to horses. In fact, they are already trying to get Grayson on a horse by himself. We already have a saddle for him to ride on but me being overprotective has made them promise that they will look for a small horse riding helmets that Grayson can use for when he rides. I know this might sound crazy but I do not want anything happening to my son! Call me overprotective, I don’t care.

Gamer Nerd

Gamer Nerd

Ever since I started playing WoW again, I’ve really had my heart set on a laptop that I can play the game on and it actually look awesome on. My current laptop will play the game but the graphics card isn’t so great on it. It also could use some more memory and a faster processor to make the game run a little smoother. My husband suggested that we start looking at custom laptops or get his brother to make me one so it will have everything I want on it without having to spend over a grand on it. I actually plan on talking to his brother this weekend, hopefully. I know, I am a gamer nerd but I take my gaming seriously. A serious gamer needs a serious laptop, ya know.

Happy Medium

Happy Medium

I am not a big fan of smoking, at all. Cigarette smoke clogs my lungs and makes me have coughing fits. When my husband and I first started dating, he was a smoker. He actually quit smoking for me which I am very thankful and proud of him for doing. Recently, he has been indulging his cravings for Black and Mild cigars. While I do not like smoking of any kind, I have agreed that a cigar is okay every now and then. I actually like the smell of cigar smoke for some reason. So since he can smoke his occasional cigar, it makes him happy and me happy at the same time. Overall, it’s a win win.

Redneck at heart

Redneck at heart

My husband is no doubt a redneck at heart. He loves everything that can be considered country from muddin’ to shooting guns to listening to country music while drinking beer. He loves his boots and don’t mess with his dip or else. I love those things about him because to me, nothing is sexier than a true country boy. I do however draw the line when he mentions camo lingerie to me. I’m sorry but that is beyond my comfort level and if I want to be sexy, wearing camo in the bedroom is not my cup of tea. Boys, I swear!

Workout Blues

Workout Blues

Back in February, I joined a gym. Since then, I’ve been one or two times. I don’t know why but I am not a gym rat by any means. I get all shy and feel stupid working out in front of others. I guess I think others are going to judge me for my lack of gym skills. Either way, I’ve made a promise to myself to get over this anxiety and start going to the gym. I need to get back in shape and it will really help me on my weight loss journey. I’ve been looking into some pre workout supplements to help aid me in my work outs. Hopefully this will help me get more out of my workouts.
