Grandparents, gotta love them.
One thing we have been dead set on is making sure Grayson gets to know all of his grandparents. We’ve taken the time to make sure he visits them plenty and spends quality one on one time with them. Because of this, I thought it’d be a great idea to create gifts for the grandparents with Grayson helping me. I’ve been looking at a certain Personal Creations grandparent’s gift that would show our love and appreciation while giving the gift a personalized flair. I feel it is very important for any gift to be personalized, ya know?

Younger Days
Tonight my husband and I sat down and was discussing our younger years around middle school. I don’t really know what brought the conversation up but it was fun to relate to each other on a different level. Some days, I wish I knew my husband back then. I wish I could know the awkward dork that he used to be so I could watch the transformation from then to the man he is now. I laughed at how he told me he was obsessed with acne home remedies because he was too embarrassed to let his grandma know he cared about such things. He seriously was weird at that age but because of that awkwardness, he is quirky today and I love that about him.

Great idea for my mom
For all of the love and support my mom has shown my husband and I, we have been looking for ways to show our thanks. My husband is dead set on getting my mom a gift once he gets a big check he is expecting soon. We’ve already decided that she needs a new stove or refrigerator. We really wanted to get something for her house that she has been wanting. Aside from that, I’ve really wanted to get something for her that would be only for her. A great idea I had was a fruit basket delivery. My mom loves fruit but doesn’t always find what she wants at our local stores. With the delivery system, she can get fruit baskets delivered to her of the fruits she wants. It is a win win for her and I know she would appreciate it. We are definitely looking into this and trying to find the best option for her to receive all of the fruits she adores.

Growing Pains
One thing that has caused a lot of growing pains for my younger sister and brother has been acne. No matter how hard my sister worked to keep her face clean, she always seem to have acne. I used to hurt for her when people would make a comment. I knew she hated looking in the mirror and seeing a blemish. I can understand how it made her feel since I hate looking in the mirror and seeing my chubby cheeks. Thankfully, we have been looking for products, such as nanocleanse, that can hopefully save my brother from continuing to go down this road. Unlike my sister, my brother does not take the time to clean his face regularly. It seriously must be a guy thing because it seems like hygiene isn’t a top priority on his list these days. In all honesty, I find that completely disgusting. What makes teenage boys not care about such things? Hopefully soon he will get to the point where he takes pride in his appearance and starts to try to impress little girls. One can only hope.

Review Junkie
Aside from scrapbooking, I’ve really become addicted to online review sites. I love hearing others opinions on products that I have been looking into whether it be a washing detergent review to a acsonix review. No matter what the item is, online reviews allow me to read what other people think of the products. I love when reviewers list both pros and cons. I am not attracted to reviews that are full of negativity or praise. I like the ones that seem real instead of someone with a vengeance or being paid to post the review. What kind of reviews do you prefer?

Scrapbooking at its best
Ever since my wedding, I’ve been really getting into scrapbooking. I love how relaxing it is for me to create something to show off the photos that mean a lot to me. I especially love creating pages with photos of Grayson on them. My hubby has graciously supported my craft and has been buying me things to help me be even more creative. His latest prize was a new metal punch that makes scalloped edges. I love it! I have such plans for this baby!

First Home Show
In an hour I will have my first home show for Premier Designs. I am so nervous and excited it is not funny. I was not nervous at all until I woke up this morning. I have these irrational fears like worrying about people showing up and making a purchase. I have done as much prep work as possible. With all the documents I need to print and keep up with for this business, I really need to invest in a good document management software program. I have to print off information for home shows, sponsoring, and general information about the company! Well, time to finish getting dressed. Ya’ll wish me luck.
