The Glastonbury Festival has been one of the more innovative music festivals around for many years, and now they have taken yet another step in introducing the Green Police. They are a group that will assist people in finding better ways to dispose of their trash, and make the festival a cleaner place for everyone. I think I would be really interested in joining the Green Police, because I believe in making the world a better place!

Looks like my secret weapon is working on here.

Lissy: I’m majoring in Multimedia Technology and I was going to major in Office Technology, but I didn’t get my transcripts :( . I can kiss that scholarship goodbye. Anyways, on to more serious notes….

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of VitaDigest. All opinions are 100% mine.

I was looking online the other day, trying to find things that might help me to lose a couple pounds, and I came across a site that sells all types of supplements, and other diet pills. Normally I would be anxious about trying diet pills, not knowing if they would work or not, or if they would cause other problems. I was happy to find out however, that many of the supplements they sell are all natural, so that they work with my body, rather than using chemicals to lose weight. The selection this site had was amazing, over 13,000 products on their site, so I could find exactly what I needed for whatever I need. I might try a couple things I found on there, and see if I like it.

I know that I can trust this site, because they have very good ratings from some of the more respected ratings sites out there. The site I’m talking about is VitaDigest, and I really like the way their site is laid out. It’s so easy to find what I need. Their site is raked in the INC5000 for 2009, as being one of the 5000 fastest growing companies, so a lot of other people think that their products work as well. Right now, you can get free shipping on all online orders of over $100, and until the end of February, just enter the coupon code “izb10jan”, for 10% off your order. It’s hard to beat a deal like that! I look forward to checking out more of the site, and seeing what else they have.

I apologize for this in advance, but this is what I told an ex friend of mine after; he was getting on my nerves.

First off, the go “insert Canadian teams” go is only a Canadian chant. Inserting your joke of a team doesn’t work. 2nd of all, it’s none of your damn ****ing business to tell me to watch my mouth and you sure as hell don’t have to know when I am getting married, since your ass isn’t invited. Oh yeah, I was never with you during the summer of 2006. Get the **** over it. No wonder why you can’t get a girlfriend. Look at the way you act.

You really got to ask me what’s wrong with being a dead wings fan. Wow!!!! Did you eat a bowl of stupid for breakfast this morning? Do you even watch hockey? Do you know what icing is? Delay of game? Slashing? Cross Checking? As far I’m even remotely concern, you are a bandwagon fan. You don’t have a damn clue about the game. Trying to convert me to a dead wings fan will never ****ing happen. When you **** around with 1 Pens fan, you are going to have to **** around with more than 17,132 fans.

Needless to say, he never responded back :) .

For some time now, I’ve wanted to go camping. I know there’s a ton of great places to go around here, and I really just want to get out and enjoy nature sometime. My boyfriend is not as big a fan of the outdoors as I am, but I am sure I can change his mind on this. He’s always been one to lounge around and watch TV, that is, when he’s not talking to me. I think once I get him out there, he will really enjoy himself, and want to do it more often. Just the thought of us out there together, in a tent, and cooking our food on one of the outdoor grills that some of the parks have, or even bringing one of our own, makes me really want to get out there and see nature, and perhaps go hiking.

I know it’s too cold and snowy to do that right now, but I’m really looking forward to the spring, when the leaves come back, and when it’s really pretty out, to just go camping with him. I really think he will see how much fun it is once we get out there, and I think that secretly, he wants to go camping too.

Dear spammers,

I love it how you keep flooding my inbox with your silly spam. Every time, I see your comments with “dgjdkgjdtjri” or even “Love your site. Very useful information. I book this site”. I don’t care, how about that for useful information. The next time, I get a comment like that; I am considering throwing a bunch of rotten eggs at you and your computer. You will be stop. I guaranteed that. And if you don’t like it, then too bad. On the bright side, I wouldn’t have to put up with you anymore; since I have a secret weapon. Enjoy your night and sit back for a bumpy ride.

tags,

With all the talk recently about the economy, and how bad things seem to be, I wanted to see for myself if what I had been hearing on the news was the whole story. I started looking around on the internet to see what some people had to live with, and what I found was shocking. One name that kept coming up when I would look online was Raj Patel, and he had quite a story about economics. I found a great video that was for his new book, which details the terrible conditions that some of the world’s workers have to endure, and how many of our current economic problems are due to deregulation in many industries, including Wall Street.

The video I watched illustrates how often times, the wrong people were put in positions of power in the government, including the positions that were supposed to oversee the stock market. These people were often former executives of companies that they were now supposed to keep in line. I’m not an expert on these things, but that doesn’t seem right to me. The book was released this month, and MacMillan Press is giving people the chance to win a free copy of this book. Just go to http://us.macmillan.com/picador/promo/thevalueofnothing , and register to win, that’s all! If you want to view the video that got me interested in reading the book, here it is:

Lissy, I do respect your opinion, but seriously; that is just nasty. The worker didn’t even have her hair pulled back. I didn’t notice this until the last second. I hope you can see why now. I’m seriously not going to be going to McDonald’s for awhile.

In other news, my gram gave me $100 :D . I was going to save the money, but then I realized that I have my student loan to pay off and I have to take my kitty to the vet on Monday. He needs 2 more shots and I think (not sure though) he has a allergy. I hope my puffer will be ok.

Nothing much has been going on. I am trying to get my list of chores to be done, but normally; I don’t feel like doing a damn thing at all today. I need to call the college, student loan, and my credit card company. Plus wash my laundry. clean my room (it’s looks like a twister hit it).

I just got finished calling the college and the lady said “you are allowed to add another major”. Woohoo!!!! The person from transcripts lied to me then. I hope to get that scholarship from Avon :) . If I do, then I get to take all online classes :D . Naturally, it’s going to be down at the library, since my computer doesn’t have Microsoft Word.

I need to get off so I can start doing some of my chores around the house. I’ll probability blog later on tonight :) . Take care everyone and have a nice day :D .

Dear McDonald’s,

I like coming once every 2 weeks (or even once every month) to get a large fries. What I don’t like seeing is a piece of black hair that is in my fries. I didn’t even notice the black hair when I was on my way to the movies with my mom. Having to call the manager just to give me a free coupon for fries was bullshit (excuse me for my language). To tell you the truth, I am glad that I called corporation. Having to speak to a customer representative (whom was really “ewwww”) by my story and assuring me that a district manager would call me soon (which she did a few hours later). Even the district manager was grossed out and assured me that this will never happen again and that wasn’t up to McDonald’s quality standards. Giving me a few “free” extra value coupons makes me happy, but I still feel bad. District manager assures me that I have no reason to feel bad. At the end, she asks me “I really don’t blame you if you don’t want to eat the fries ever again”. You got that right.

My boyfriend was telling me one time about his dad owning an older truck. He told me that he really loved this truck, and wished his dad still owned it. It was a green and gold 1999 Ford F-150, and had over 200,000 miles on it when he traded it in for a newer model of the same truck. He told me about when he worked for his dad several years ago, how they would literally put over 100 miles per day on the truck by just running errands, and doing what had to be done during the day. He told me about days that him and his dad would leave at 6:00 in the morning, and not get home until almost 6:00 that night, with everything that had to be done. He told me about how that truck could haul just about anything they needed it to, and they would sometimes load it to the limit of what it could carry. His dad runs his own ceiling company, so there can be some really heavy loads involved in that. I would have loved to have seen that truck, just to see what it could carry.

He told me that for the most part, it ran really well, except for a few minor things. The transmission needed work sometimes, but nothing major had to be done to it. He told me how the knob for the thermostat broke, and that they had to use a pair of pliers to change the temperature in the truck. He also told me about how sometimes they had problems with the air conditioner, not a good thing in the hot summers I bet and how the check engine light would come on. He told me more and more stories about working with his dad, and it really seemed like he liked that truck a lot from what he would tell me. The long road trips they would take for work, and the places they went really makes me want to go to those places, just because he described them so well. I wish he would of taken the truck to a autoshop. It would have been nice to have met my boyfriend earlier than I did, so that I could hear these stories as they were happening, rather than him telling me about them today. Too bad he didn’t live out in California, my boyfriend’s dad could of taken it to a San Diego auto Repair shop.
