Hockey Diva

I have a new theme coming soon. I just need to code it and pick out the colors and put it up . It maybe up tomorrow. I hope everyone will like it on here .

Other then from I making the new theme, writing out assignments; I have been looking for a job as well. I have applied to McDonald’s, Sheetz, an office company (for a office clerk), Dunkin Donuts team member, Giant Eagle stock clerk…etc. You get an idea. I would love to work in a deli again. Lucky for me, there is a job fair here on Thursday. I am not sure what time it starts, but I already have my resume done (yay) and now; I just need to find an outfit to wear.

Other then that, this is what my schedule looks like for the past 3 days.

Thursday: job fair.
Friday: Pens home opener.
Saturday: Picture taken with the Stanley Cup and flipping back and worth between the Pens game and the Ohio State game.

Busy weekend ahead of me . But it’s a good thing .

I love playing games. I love playing the Sims 2 and Virble (a word game). Lately, I been itching to try out some new games, such as heroes of newerth. heroes of newerth reminds me of Wow and Final Fantasy (which I never played, but a couple of my friends are trying to convinced me to play Wow). By checking out this game, it’s new and currently in beta.

You basically pick from a list of heroes, defending a base/having an enemy base to destroy as well, Also you can help the creeps(npc) advance to the enemy towers along the lanes that connect the bases. The current levels are from 1-25.

Sounds like an interesting game to well. If you are into role playing games, I would suggest giving heroes of newerth a check out today.

In the words of Jan Brady “Marcia Marcia Marcia!!”. Or in my case “drama drama drama!!”.

My aunt and I get along somewhat ok, but lately we haven’t. She’s the one that runs up the cellphone bill (over $100 to be exact). Plus, she is always on the cellphone. And I mean, always on the phone. That’s a whole other different story though.

Well, today certainly took the cake. She called the house phone and told me “Can’t you answer your cell phone?” Um, wtf? I replied back with “My phone is upstairs.” I thought it was upstairs and it wasn’t. A simple mistake on my behalf. I thought the conversation was going to be over right? Nope, I was wrong. She proceeds to tell me that we only have one vile of Front Line Plus for cats left.

Here’s the conversation.

Me-”We didn’t have any left.”
Aunt-”But it came with 4 viles.”
Me-”No it didn’t. The one vile, I had-I gotten it from the vet. The first vile from the box went to your cat and the last two viles I used 2 weeks ago”
Aunt-”Are you sure?”
Me-”Yes, I’m sure”
Aunt-”Well, my cat better not get fleas then!” And hangs up on me.

Excuse me? My cat doesn’t go outside. He’s the inside cat, but her (meaning my aunt) cat goes outside all the time and brings the fleas in. Of course, she making me the liar. I am clearly telling her the truth.

I wished I lived in a drama free world.

One day, I was just surfing around on the net, and came across a site that lists some Scottsdale Arizona realtors. Interested, I decided to look up the weather in Scottsdale, just to see how it was compared to Pittsburgh, and to see if I could live there. I’ve heard a lot about how hot it is there, but when I looked at some of the numbers, I saw that it’s a lot less humid than Pittsburgh, and I really think that I could adjust to the weather there. Sure, it’ll be hot in the summer, but since there’s not much humidity, it doesn’t feel as hot as what I thought. After looking at Scottsdale Arizona realtors, I think I could make it happen, heat and all.

I do have a theme (or two) in mind and I’m going to start creating the themes tonight. For one of the themes (that I already have), I need to tweak it out just a bit and everything will be ok. I could just use that theme until I get the other 2 created . Hopefully everyone will love the new theme(s). Once I get those 2 theme(s) created, everything will be smooth sailing from here on out.

Recently I’ve had the urge to get a bike. Not sure what kind I want to get yet, but I know that whenever I do get one, and want to customize it how I want, I’m going to go to national cycle. They have over 30,000 parts for all makes and models of motorcycles, and more coming all the time. Believe it or not, I am still making changes to the site. I rummaged around and found my copy of Paint Shop Pro 9 (would like to have Photoshop though). My creatively has not gone away yet. I should have a new theme coming up very soon. Although, it will take me a while to code the new theme (that’s the part I am rusty on the most). I can create, but can’t code well. These next few weeks will be very interesting to say the least.

I’ve noticed lately that I’m not quite as energetic as I used to be, and was wondering if something was wrong. While looking around online, I came across some info about a new pill that says that it will help with energy. According to the website I looked at, I could get an entire salad in one revolutionary pill!! On September 12, I stayed in to watch Ohio State and USC, and while I was disappointed with how the game ended, it was a really good game. I was sitting there in my ‘Dot The I’ shirt, watching Ohio State play a great game, but unfortunately USC had to come back in the 4th quarter to steal the game from the Bucks. I really hate USC, the team, the fight song, everything. Ohio State had the lead for pretty much the whole game, but then USC came back in the 4th quarter and won 18-15. I was so pissed that the Bucks lost that game, especially against the Trojans. The only team I hate more than USC is that team from the state up north, and I REALLY hate Michigan. Hopefully OSU can come back and win for the rest of the year.

As you can clearly see, the ball was not over the goal line on 4th and 1. Therefore the score should of been USC: 11 Ohio State: 15.

As you can tell by the title, there are going to be minor changes to Hockey-Diva. I’ve been thinking about changing Hockey-Diva for quite awhile now. Of course, I’m not going to delete the site; I just need to start fresh all over again.

1. No more “You” content (at least not for awhile).  I want to try and write my own tips on “how save money/or how to sleep properly” .
2. No more going off topic (with my posts).  Whatever I write is going to stick to one main topic. Not jumping from one topic to the second topic and then back to the first topic. Yes, my blog is still going to be about my life, but it’s all going to be about one topic.
3. Having a clean, fresh layout. I am going to work on a new theme/or layout as soon as I can. I would like my theme/or layout to be simple, but yet pretty. I’m also planning on getting rid some of the widgets as well. In doing this, I hope to make this site faster, and allow the content to stand out more.
