Maritime Workers

With the onset of the financial recession in our midst, a lot of people took the opportunity to take Maritime jobs. I have two friends of mine that decided the job market here was not what it should be so they took jobs working on an oil rig. The thing that was most confusing for one of my friends is that he got injured on an American oil rig in foreign waters. He was not sure what his legal rights were as to who he could get compensation from for his injuries. Thankfully, he found a great Maritime Lawyer to help straighten everything out for him. Now, he actually received compensation for his injury which I am thankful. His family was pretty touch and go throughout Christmas. The hubby and I were going to help but we were pretty destitute as well over the holidays. Thankfully, everything works itself out if you keep the faith.
