Scrubs

I was helping my mom clean out her closet and we ran into a whole lot of medical scrubs that she had to wear when she worked at the health department. I think finding the stash of scrubs really was nostalgic for my mom since she would do anything to go back to nursing. Nursing was my mom’s livelihood and the car wreck she was in took that away from her. Instead of throwing out the scrubs, we decided to donate them since my mom spent a lot of money on them. There also isn’t a scrub store in our area so I am sure we are helping out those that are in need of scrubs!

As we boxed up all of her scrubs, it reminded me of what a big hassle my mom had to go through to get all of them. We had one scrub store in our area but they only carried smaller sizes. My mom is a bigger lady like myself and also short so that made finding scrubs even harder. Also, the store we had did not carry cute scrubs since they just stocked the normal blue and green scrubs. This is why my mom decided to start buying scrubs online since they had a variety of colors, sizes, and lengths! It also was convenient to order whenever she had time instead of sticking to the strict hours of business the scrub store had. Needless to say, I am sure someone is going to be happy to find this box of treasures!
