Get in the groove

For a long time, I always assumed that exercise had to involve some form of fitness equipment. I never saw that parking at the back of a grocery store lot could be considered as getting more exercise than I usually do or that a quick stroll down the block with the dogs could be considered exercise as well. I always had it in my head that if I didn’t spend big bucks on a piece of equipment I would never really lose weight. For the past few weeks I’ve been trying very hard to up my exercise by doing my everyday tasks differently. When I go to the grocery store I park at the back just like when I take my dogs outside to go to the bathroom I actually walk them long distances so they get exercise at the same as I do. It’s funny how the littlest changes in life can impact you so much in the long run!
