The great envelope hunt

One of my biggest worries right now is getting my invitations printed, addressed, stamped, and mailed. Usually this would be an easy feat since I know that Staples will cut the card stock down to size and I can print the invitations myself since I partially designed them as well. My biggest problem is finding the inner and outer envelopes in the size I need. I need inner envelopes that are 5 1/4 inch by 7 1/4 inch and outer envelopes that are lined measuring 5 1/2 inch by 7 1/2 inch. For some reason this is an odd combination to find or maybe I don’t know exactly where to look. I’m really getting frustrated. I could understand if I was looking for jumbo envelopes or something of that sort but these should be a regular size, shouldn’t they?

Well, I am not going to stress. I will commence my looking for envelopes tomorrow because today I plan on writing my paper and then cooking a delicious meal of salad, cheese manicotti, and garlic bread with a key lime pie and triple layer lemon pie for dessert. We also plan on cooking out tomorrow because the weather is so beautiful today. It is even supposed to be close to 70 tomorrow so bring on the sunshine! I really could use a cookout to lift my spirits and make me feel better. This cold weather has gotten me all gloomy! So I better head to the store! Until next time, later loves.

No idea

I still have no idea why my post about the need to find a job went to. I have no idea why some posts will show up at times and not show up at others. Does anyone have any idea what could be going wrong? I really need to get this fixed ASAP. I almost am scared to blog anymore because I put the time and effort into my blog so my opinions and feelings can be heard but when they just disappear it’s like a piece of me went with them. So if anyone has any idea what could be going wrong, please let me know. I would really appreciate the help!

Irritated

Okay, early this morning I made a post expressing my frustrations with how WordPress keeps eating all of my posts. In fact, the last few posts I wrote earlier this week weren’t showing up. Now, my post from earlier isn’t showing up but the posts from earlier this week are. I am very irritated right now because I don’t understand what is going on.

I’m also irritated that I had this long post about how I have so much to do wedding wise which leads me to the conclusion that I really need to find a job, but let’s face it, the economy sucks right now. I also talked about how I was looking at a digital frame to house all of our future engagement/wedding pictures since that is something my mom has been talking about getting me. I know nothing about them so I’ve been researching them online since I want a good one obviously.

Right now I really just need to figure out what’s going on. So until next time, later loves!

I am wiiide awake

After a good night’s rest, I found myself being wide awake an hour before my alarm is set to go off. Although right now it isn’t an hour before my alarm, just about fifteen minute since I’ve been lallygagging online. I was taking care of an issue that arose with the whole host change but I believe it is being taken care of. So once again, no need to start looking up tv mounts although I really could use one because my bed sits up higher than my cable box so in order to turn the channel I have to put my arm high up in the air and point the remote down. I know that seems like something easy to do but it bugs me after a while which I’m sure is silly but when I want to veg out in bed and be lazy, lifting my arm to change every channel is hard work I tell ya.

Speaking of annoyances, everyday this week I have put in an effort to post a blog post a day since I want to get back in the hang of things but for some reason they just save or I walk away before hitting publish because I have the attention span of a fly so that is why two posts just popped out of nowhere. I really need to work on my attention span but I had so much going on the past two days it’s not even funny. I am happy to say that things will slow down after today because I won’t have class again until Monday and this weekend I just have one paper to write instead of a paper to write, 4 DVD’s to watch, and 2 tests to study for! I really am liking the lack of work that needs to be done this weekend! Even though I had so much to do, last weekend rocked since it was Valentine’s Day and I got to spend it with my future hubby. He took me to Sumo’s this hibachi grill and we had a good time. It was nice spending time with him and we ended up talking all night which is partially why I was so tired Monday. It was well worth it though.

Oh Lord, now that I’ve been sitting at the computer for a good hour almost, my eyes are starting to get heavy! No! I will not sleep! I will not get sleepy! I have things to do! I think I will go get me some breakfast and then watch a little television until it’s time to get dressed. So until next time, later loves!

Things are looking up

I managed to get through yesterday even though I was really lagging in my night class. I even managed to watch last night’s episode of Make It or Break It as well which put me in a cheery mood before bed. I was feeling a lot of pressure about today’s Spanish test because I really thought I failed the first one. In fact, I left some of my test blank because I had no idea what the answers were. She was describing a scene which I had no idea about and then she spelled out words in the Spanish alphabet but it was hard to know what she was saying exactly.

So after today’s test, the professor let us see our tests from the week before. When I saw my grade I literally asked her to make sure this was right because there was no way I scored that high. It turns out instead of completely failing the test, I made an 86 which completely floored me. Considering I was in a crappy mood of having to walk forever from the parking lot to the building in the freezing weather complete with snow and ice cold wind, my grade made it all seem worth it. You see, the parking lot on that campus is in the most inconvenient place ever so no matter where you park you’re stuck walking a good distance just to get into the building and when it’s freezing outside this tends to put people in a rather bad mood. So even though I had to walk back to my car in the freezing weather, I was super excited! Yes, no googling Miami Beach vacations for me today because Kate is very happy!

I kinda am surprised about my good mood since I am once again getting sick from the weather, but I guess my fears and stress from going back to school after missing a few classes from being sick earlier were completely not needed. I was even stressed about my History test I had Monday but it turns out I knew the answers to a lot of questions so I was quite impressed with myself. I guess I am a lot smarter than I thought! Well, I am going to head to bed because I am getting a migraine but that’s okay, I am not even going to let that ruin my mood!
